Founder, Business Owner & Independent Contractor

January 2024 - Present | Exergy LLC, Denver, CO

Founded Exergy LLC, an engineering firm that designs heating systems powered by bitcoin mining. Our thermal solutions lower utility costs and secure network decentraliztion. We maximize efficiency and monetize heat! Established block 828310.

Experience includes thermal system design, HVAC, forced air, plumbing, hydronic heating, bitcoin mining, feasibility studies, and thermo-economic modeling.

Thermal Engineer - Vulcan Rocket Major Development & Upgrades

November 2022 - January 2024 | United Launch Alliance (ULA), Denver, CO

Performed heat transfer and thermodynamic analysis as part of the Vulcan Centaur Rocket - Upgrades Program. Applied principles of heat transfer and the laws of thermodynamics to analyze various rocket components. Collaboration with multiple engineering teams was required to extract necessary data, including environments, model logic, thermophysical properties, and trajectories, to create simulated vehicle mission thermal analyses. Contributed to the thermal development of the reuse program, participating in early-concept design discussions for reusing booster engines. Conducted design trades for thermal protection systems to ensure the vehicle's survival in new environments. Other experience includes on-console thermal support during tests and launches for live monitoring, digestion, and communication of thermal data to relevant stakeholders.

Graduate Assistant Coach - Men's Rowing

Fall 2019 - Summer 2021 | University of Wisconsin Athletic Department

Men's Rowing graduate assistant coach. Practiced leadership, education, and organizational skills. Had the honor of helping to develop and coach young Division I varsity athletes for Wisconsin Crew.

Manufacturing Engineering Intern - Brass Building

Summer 2019 | Kohler Company, Kohler, WI

Lean manufacturing, line production and system optimization/waste reduction. One-piece flow. CAD part fixture design and integration. CNC programming and manufacturing process flow development. Practiced rapid prototyping and problem solving. Gained experience on the factory floor with tooling, machinists, product development, and quickly resolving production obstacles.

Co-Founder & CEO of The Space, a Rocky Mountain Bitcoin Citadel

Serving as the first elected Chief Executive Officer of The Space, a member-run and open source bitcoin social hub. We offer events, education, workspace, community building resources and more.
